Hello from Romania! My second mission trip has been another blessing, although I was the first to suffer sickness. We finished our 3 day VBS in Finate on Friday and I couldn’t even last long enough to clean up the school where we held the VBS. It wasn’t even a problem, because our team rallied around me (as I knew they would) & they INSISTED that I stay at camp and rest (Praise the LORD!!) So, I did. It was official-I had hit my “wall”. I couldn’t even attend church that night in Lapus. It was obvious to me that Satan could not stand the work we are doing here so we would be attacked physically-however, he did not, is not & will not get the glory. We have since had at least half of our team missing various events/services due to being physically ill and even though we may be too sick to go Satan can’t keep us from lifting up our team in PRAYER!!! I know that VBS was successful and I am thankful that I was able to be instrumental in sharing with these children! For those of you back home please be in prayer for our team for the following: VBS (Mon. & Tues.) in Baia Mare, and the remaining church services, Visits with gypsy villages, work at camp, & especially for the team to be well BEFORE boarding the plane…for those who remember from last yr. we don’t want to spend an 8 hr flight “in the basement”!! LOL
One Last thing-today we were sooooo blessed to witness 16 baptisms in the river at camp!!! It kinda made me consider rededication =)
Pa Pa (Bye Bye)
